Viswanath aka Kasinadhuni Viswanath was a popular director, screenwriter, and actor. He mostly worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. He received five National Awards, seven Nandi Awards, and Ten Filmfare Awards South. He also won a Filmfare Award for his work in the Eeshwar Hindi film. Viswanath won the Nandi Award for his debut film as a director. As an actor, he mostly worked in Tamil and Telugu movies. In addition, he also worked in two Kannada films Prema Baraha and Oppanda. Unfortunately, this acclaimed legendary director Viswanath passed away in a private hospital in Hyderabad at midnight on Thursday (February 02, 2023) due to prolonged illness.
