Kartiki came into the limelight for her nature Tamil documentary The Elephant Whisperers which is set to stream on Netflix. She also works as freelance wildlife and nature photographer. Her works have been published in various national and international photography, travel, and wildlife magazines, and books. Her documentary The Elephant Whisperers was nominated for Oscars.
