Everton Name Sean Dyche as The New Manager After Sacking Frank Lampard

Everton have confirmed the appointment of former Burnley gaffer Sean Dyche as their new manager for a two and a half-year contract.

The manager has been out of his managerial job since he was sacked by Burnley for failing to avoid relegation.

Dyche has accepted to replace Frank Lampard and would like Everton to believe they can survive relegation.

The club held a meeting with Marcos Bielsa and Dyche, but Bielsa was concerned about the tiny squad and lack of investment. The club decided to give Dyche a chance to see how he can lift the spirits of the players again.

Dyche is the seventh manager hired by Everton’s owner, Farhad Moshiri, since he took over seven years ago.

Dyche seems happy to be joining the Toffees because the club has a rich history. He stated that he and his staff are ready to kick the club back to the top.

He also wants the passion of the fans to grow again. The fans have been frustrated, and they were seen last week begging the players and supporting Frank Lampard.

Dyche is looking forward to changing the style of the team and blending it in a way where they can win matches. The former Burnley manager claimed Everton have the right squad and are in good shape.

The manager wants to give the players the freedom to play, and putting a smile on the players’ faces is something he is targeting as a manager.

Frank Lampard’s last match ended in a 2-0 defeat to West Ham, who are also struggling to gather points this season. Lampard will be without a job after coaching Chelsea, Everton, and Derby County.

Chelsea have taken Enzo Fernandez as their priority and have put aside signing any other midfielder for now in order to get their target.

Chelsea made the offer in installments to test Benfica’s Rui Costa. However, it has been reported that the deal is going to be done before the end of the transfer window on January 31, 2023, at 11:00 p.m.

If the deal comes through, Enzo Fernandez is going to have the highest transfer fee in British history, passing Jack Grealish’s deal from Aston Villa to Manchester City.

The young midfielder has given his green light on the move to the London side in this transfer window.

However, Benfica have accused Chelsea of unsettling the player.
