Cage Fury Fighting Championships kicks off 2023 campaign with a blockbuster back-to-back weekend

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships launches the promotion’s ambitious 2023 schedule with a spectacular weekend of mixed martial arts action, including five championship contests, when the organization visits Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena on Friday, March 31 for “CFFC 117: Kamchybekov vs. Gunnison” and Saturday, April 1 for “CFFC 118: Forest vs. Radtke.”

Friday’s CFFC 117 is headlined by an interim lightweight title fight, with former undisputed champ Zulkarnaiyn Kamchybekov (6-2) facing the hard-hitting Cedric Gunnison (5-1) to claim the newly minted title, while the co-main event sees a pair of undefeated heavyweights collide with reigning champion Greg “The Viking King” Velasco (5-0) putting his belt on the line against challenger Ronald Coleman (3-0).

Additional matchups already booked for the card include Luke Fernandez (Pro debut) vs. “Lord” Derik Overstreet (2-1), Jerry Lleshi (0-1) vs. Guilherme Crossi (0-2) and Ryan Cafaro (9-5) vs. Jeremiah “The Kid” Labiano (13-10), with more announcements coming soon.

Meanwhile, Saturday’s CFFC 118 features reigning welterweight champion Raheam “Rambo” Forest (6-0) facing the explosive Charles “Chuck Buffalo” Radtke (6-3), as well as Vilson “The Strong Eagle” Ndregjoni (6-3) vs. Ashiek “Peak Physique” Ajim (6-2) for the vacant bantamweight title.

Other contests confirmed for the event include NextGen middleweight champion Nick Galanti (4-1) vs. Nart Gokeh (4-1), as well as Riley Palmer (Pro debut) vs. Donzeill “The Black Dragon” Marshall (1-1), and Tom “Pooch” Picciano (2-1) vs. “Juggernaut” Joe Schick (5-2), with additional matchup to be announced shortly.
