Bellator MMA Becomes Globo’s Flagship Mma Property In Brazil

Los Angeles — BELLATOR MMA today announced a landmark, multi-year media rights partnership for live BELLATOR events to air in Brazil exclusively on leading Latin American media company Globo.

With the partnership, starting with this Saturday’s BELLATOR 290: Bader vs. Fedor 2, all BELLATOR events will air on live transmission exclusively on the Combate channel in Brazil. Combate, Globo’s leading provider of premium combat sports content and pay-per-views in Brazil, will deliver relevant coverage throughout Globo’s digital and pay TV channels.

Now, Brazilian MMA fans will be able to easily tune in Combate to watch BELLATOR’s Brazilian stars such as Featherweight World Champions and No. 1 pound-for-pound talents Patricio “Pitbull” Freire (35-5) and Cris “Cyborg” Justino (26-2). Plus, Brazilian fans will also enjoy matchups featuring former BELLATOR Lightweight Champion Patricky “Pitbull” Freire (24-11), former BELLATOR Welterweight Champion Douglas “The Phenom” Lima (32-11), No. 7-ranked heavyweight Marcelo Golm (10-3), and top-10 welterweight contenders Goiti Yamauchi (28-5) and Neiman Gracie (11-4) to name a few.
